Basic English

  Beans looked into Rango's eyes. 'Thank you,' she said. 'You are our hero!' It was very hot in the Mojave Desert. Everyone wanted to drink a lot of water, so he sought for them. At first, he didn't do well and gave up finding the water. However, at last, he could find them. He became a real hero. I like the story of effort. I want to study hard and become a man like him.

"Let's all make Valentine's Day cards", said Rabbit.  It was Valentine's Day in the Hundred-Acre Wood. Everyone was excited. Pooh suggested everyone to make cards for all of them. All of them tried, but they couldn't make cards well. At the party, some gave out cards, and some only got them. They enjoyed it.   It was easy to read the sentences, but I felt difficult to enjoy the story because I didn't know the characters. vocabulary nothing

"Now the aliens could go home. Chicken Little was a hero!"  Chicken Little made a big mistake. He rang the town bell to warn everyone that sky was falling. Everyone teased Chicken Little. He wanted things to change because he was tired of being teased. At that time there was trouble. The sky really did fall on Chicken Little. His friends wanted to help him, but one of his friends, named Fish, Flew out with the piece of sky. They saw a spaceship in the sky. They snuck onto the spaceship, and they learned that Earth was in danger. Chicken Little rang the bell again, but no one believed him. Everyone thought Chicken Little was crazy. However, the sky was soon falling apart. Then Chicken Little saw an alien kid running. He knew he was lost. He had to return the kid to his parents. In fact, the Earth was not in danger after all. The aliens were only looking for their child. Finally Chicken Little gave the alien kid back to his family. Chicken Little was a hero.  I saw this movie w

"And Lilo and Stitch got away. "That escape was fun!" said Lilo. "Let's do it again!"  Lilo wanted to be Myrtle's friend, but Myrtle said Stitch was ugly dog. Stich wasn't a dog. He was blue and furry. He was really an alien. Pleakley and Jumba were aliens, too. They had come to Earth to catch Stitch. At that time, Stitch found them and got away with Lilo. Pleakley and Jumba chased them. Stitch and Lilo went through difficult paths and spaces. Finally, they could make good their escape. "But Remy stops running. He smells the soup. The soup stinks! Remy wants to fix it."  There was a rat called Remy. He didn't like the other rats, so he walked on two feet. When he watched TV, he decided to become a chef. One day, Remy got lost, and ended up in Paris. He found a boy making soup, but the soup was bad. Remy wanted to fix it. He cooked very well. "Hen has some eggs. One is big. The rest are small."  There was a bird named Hen. He had some eggs. One was big, and the rest were small. At that time, He thought the big egg wasn't him, so he started a journey to look for the egg's mother. He asked to many animals, but he couldn't find the mother. One day, Hen got tricked by a fox, and lost all eggs. When the fox was about to eat eggs, suddenly big bird had hatched, and save small eggs from the fox. Finally, Hen loved big bird and him children.  It was easy to read. vocabulary nothing

"Cat wants a snack."  A cat set a lot of traps because he want a snack. However he failed a lot of time. He looked very sad. Finally, he tried to set a trap to human, and he could get a snack. He looked very happy.  It was easy to read. vocabulary nothing

 Today, I went to global lounge and talked with Vio for the first time. He was very friendly. We talked about strategy to improve my English skills. I learned that it is important to practice English many times. It was good time.

I read this type of English comic for the first time, but I felt it easy to read because it had a lot of pictures.

I also read "Little Snow-White Fairy tale", too. There was a girl who was as white as snow, and as red as blood, and her hair was as black as ebony. That was why she was called Little Snow-White. A year after her mother passed away, the King took to himself another wife. The new Queen was beautiful, but proud and haughty, and she couldn't bear the person who is more beautiful than her. One day, the Queen asked her looking-glass "Who in this land is the fairest of all?", and it answered "Snow-White". She was shocked and raged, so she took Snow-White away and try to kill her a lot of time. She failed to kill her three times, but at last, she did with a very poisonous apple. The dwarfs thought they couldn't do anything to revive Snow-white, but hopefully a king's son could revive her. Then the king's son, full of joy, told Snow-white to come to his father' palace and marry. She was willing, and went with him . To see the young Queen who w

I also read "The goose-girl", too. There was a beautiful princess, and when she grew up, she was betrothed to a prince who lived a great way off. One day , on the way there, the princess was taken a position by her maid because she lost a lock of fairy's hair which was a important charm to her. The maid pretended to be a princess, on the other hand, true princess was forced to pretend to be a goose-girl. At first, the maid was received warmly, but at last, the king knew the truth that the true princess was the goose-girl .Then the maid was severely punished ,and the true princess and the young king were married and lived happily.   I haven't read this story ever ,so I tried to read. I like the story because it has a happy ending. I always feel better when reading 'right and wrong' stories.

The emperor's new clothes Many years ago, there was an emperor, who was so excessively fond of clothes. One day, two rogues, calling themselves weavers, made their appearance. They knew how to weave splendid clothes which are invisible when people who was unfit for the office he held, or who was simpleton. To hear that, the emperor was delighted to let them make that clothes. I have read this fairy tale when I was a child. I didn't like this because I just felt pity for the naked emperor at that time, but now I enjoyed reading because I could empathize with the mind of self-protection .
